CNC Programmer – PowerMill

A leading Canadian Tool & Die manufacturer—serving global OEMs and known for its innovation and precision—is looking to expand its remote programming team in Bangalore. This is a rare opportunity to work with global experts and apply your CNC programming skills on international projects right from India.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to support high-precision mold manufacturing operations remotely. You’ll work closely with the Canadian tooling and design teams, programming 3-axis and 3+2 axis (5-axis) machines using Autodesk PowerMill
Key Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Program 3-axis and 3+2 axis CNC machines using Autodesk PowerMill
•⁠ ⁠Develop efficient toolpaths for roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing operations
•⁠ ⁠Interpret blueprints and 3D CAD models from the Canadian team
•⁠ ⁠Apply advanced tooling knowledge for optimal surface finish and machining time
•⁠ ⁠Use PowerShape for basic surface modeling and apply custom strategies/macros
•⁠ ⁠Communicate regularly with Canadian supervisors via video calls, email, and documentation
•⁠ ⁠Work independently, troubleshoot machining issues, and adapt to design changes
What We’re Looking For:
•⁠ ⁠Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Tool Engineering
•⁠ ⁠5+ years’ experience in 3-axis CNC programming and 2+ years with 3+2 (5-axis)
•⁠ ⁠Strong proficiency in Autodesk PowerMill (PowerShape knowledge is a plus)
•⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience in mold-making/tool & die workflows preferred
•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and time management skills for remote collaboration
